CEGGA Birdcage

Built by CEGGA in Aigle, Claude and Georges Gachnang, this Birdcage has been reconstructed from scratch with many original pieces. Its chassis was notably recovered at the bottom of italy while its 2.9 l. Maserati was recontructed by the capricorn factory, but with modern materials in order to make it more reliable and efficient. The aluminum body was entirely handmade on the basis of the original gauges. This car is very powerful due to its lightness. Its chassis, made with multitude tubes of very small section inspired its name of birdcage. This car regularly participates in vintage car races with our driver and home builder Georges Gachnang.
